I booked into Aloft as my son was involved in a RTA in Costa Rica and was in the local hospital. I had originally booked 9 nights in San jose, not realising how far away it was from the hospital so checked out of that hotel early & moved to Aloft. I initially booked in for 3 nights which I had to extend to a further 9 nights and again another extension of 2 nights. The most important thing for me was that I could keep the same room each time I extended and the hotel ensured this request was honoured without any hassle at all. The staff here are excellent, very friendly and helpful. One particular member of staff at breakfast asked me regularly how my son was doing and how I was, he was so kind. The breakfast is excellent, lots of choice of both food and drinks. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Visiting the hospital every day has meant I have only really experienced breakfast and the bedroom but I can see and feel from the atmosphere that this is an excellent hotel all round. I would definitely love to return in the future under better circumstances

Loved that they gave you the option to add breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the price which was very convenient on the days we were tired from excursions and didn't want to spend extra money for uber or driving to restaurants. Reception was courteous and kind and helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

We travel to the Pacific coast and find the location ideal for being outside of the city core, easy to get to the airport and easy to access the highway over to the South Pacific. We had dinner here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service. It is everything we need in a place to stay overnight on our travels.

The desk in the room is added value if you travel for leisure or business. The selection and quality of the food for breakfast meet our expectation. The same for dinner, selection and quality of the food for diner meet our expectation.
